Bathroom & Kitchen Showroom Advisor/Designer - £20K + uncapped sales commission

Full-time – Central Bristol

 

Gardiner Haskins Interiors is a well-established independent retailer in the centre of Bristol. Due to the successful opening of a brand new showroom they are now enlarging their sales team.

 

They are looking for an experienced sales advisor with design flair who has the enthusiasm to help customers with the design and purchase of their dream bathroom or kitchen.

 

Can you work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the new showroom provides a visual impact and delivers an outstanding customer experience? The role would involve the full sales cycle from greeting customers as they enter the new showrooms, preparing and presenting accurate designs (using CAD software) or quotations through to ensuring professional after sales communication.

 

The suitable candidate will need to be fully confident in selling and designing direct to customers using outstanding communication skills, professional presentation, up-selling and achieving add on sales wherever possible. A smart and presentable appearance is necessary at all times.

 

Previous relevant experience of bathroom and related products is essential and kitchen sales experience is preferable but not essential. A proven track record in a customer-facing sales environment in order to successfully achieve targets is necessary to be able to succeed in this role and maximise commission. Experience of using MS Office and CAD software is essential.

 

In return, our client offers a competitive salary (£20,000 pa basic) with an uncapped sales commission scheme (potential to earn £25K+) , staff discounts and benefits (such as free city centre parking).

 

Flexibility about when you can work is necessary as you'll be covering store opening hours on a rota basis (39 hours a week) including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
